Get The SHARE Building back on track.
It’s time to act.
Over five years ago, Sophie examined the plans for The SHARE Building, envisioning what this space could become.
Not just another office building, but a beacon of wellbeing in the heart of Hoofddorp. While others saw just glass and steel, she saw the potential to create something extraordinary.
The journey to WELL certification tested every ounce of her team's commitment. Countless late nights perfecting air quality systems, debating circadian lighting designs, and thoughtfully balancing collaborative and quiet spaces.
Every detail mattered – from the low-VOC materials to the biophilic elements that brought nature indoors.
The day the WELL plaque was mounted in the lobby was more than a milestone; it was personal. Sophie watched with pride as companies moved in, choosing her building specifically for its wellness credentials. She heard stories of employees feeling more energized, more productive, genuinely happier.
Now, more than three years later, that same plaque must come down. The certification has lapsed. The building that was once a pioneer in workplace wellness is just... another building.
All that innovation, all that passion – reduced to a footnote.
Protect the legacy. Continue the story.
Why Recertification Matters:
-
Protect Asset Income
Some of your occupiers specifically chose this building for its WELL certification and are paying a premium for it. Losing certification risks rent reviews or even break clauses, potentially reducing rental income.
-
Tenant Retention
In a market where occupiers are consolidating their real estate footprint, maintaining WELL certification provides a strong incentive for your tenants to stay.
-
Future-Proofing Asset Value
As sustainability and wellness credentials increasingly influence property valuations, maintaining WELL certification helps protect the capital value of your asset. This is particularly important if refinancing or sale might be considered in the future.
-
Safeguard ESG Compliance
Your tenants & building owner may currently rely on the building's WELL certification for their ESG reporting and strategies. Losing certification would disrupt their compliance frameworks and reporting capabilities.
We transform the daunting task of recertification into a streamlined journey.
Our experts handle every detail; gathering documentation, coordinating testing & tenant engagement - securing your renewed WELL Certification with no headaches or sleepless nights.
You maintain your premium position while we do the heavy lifting.
FAQ.
Your Questions Answered.
-
Failing to recertify has significant implications for your building and tenants. Upon expiration of your WELL Certification:
Your building will be removed from the IWBI WELL Project Directory
You must immediately cease using the WELL Certified™ status in all marketing and communications
The WELL Certification plaque must be removed from your building
All WELL-related marks, logos, and promotional materials must be discontinued
Tenants will no longer be able to claim occupancy in a WELL Certified building for their ESG reporting
You would need to undergo the full initial certification process rather than the streamlined recertification if you decide to pursue WELL Certification again in the future
